Want to show the world what you’ve been working on? Send your presentation proposal to Shaun McCance at syllogist@syllogist.net. We’re interested in any topic related to documentation, support, and open communities. In particular, we’re excited to see talks related to the following:

• Engaging user communities to create user-generated content, managing contributions and contributors, and getting people excited about helping other users.
• Running effective documentation sprints, either in-person or remotely.
• Making documentation available to everybody through better internationalization, localization, and accessibility.

The Open Help Conference has a heavy focus on open discussion, so we prefer presentations that foster discussion and collaboration. Plan to speak for 45 minutes. Proposals are evaluated as they come in, so send your proposal as soon as possible.

Tools Showcase

Open source folks are known for not accepting the status quo. When off-the-shelf tools don’t do what we need, we create the tools that we need to build the systems we want. Come share your innovations in documentation tools in the tool showcase.

Tools are showcased in ten-minute, back-to-back lightning talks. Tell us the problems you faced, why existing solutions didn’t work for you, and what you did to make things better. Send your showcase proposal to Shaun McCance at syllogist@syllogist.net.
